Have never had this style from Bianchi, I generally use different brands of leather holsters, like Crossbreed, or else Fobus molded holsters. Thought I would try this. Big mistake. The holster IS pretty; the paddle is well made. The strap / snap is a bit awkward, as the thumb must pull the strap INWARD to open, rather than the more typical outward snap action. But the worst feature is this: The holster will NOT allow the pistol to seat all the way in. The small groove on the top, allegedly to accommodate the front sight, is too short and too narrow and prevents the sight from reaching the proper place, holding the pistol about two inches out of the holster. If one FORCES the pistol in, then upon withdrawing, the back side of the front sight is covered with foam and nylon, the lining material which scrapes off against it. To further complicate things, Bianchi - and parent company Safariland - refuse to respond to customer queries,so that the only lesson learned for the price of the purchase is, stay away from Bianchi and deal with Fobus or other reputable manufacturers. An expensive lesson but perhaps YOU can avoid making the mistake that I did.
