A few days ago I came across a flyer for a seminar being given by the authors so I took this book out of the library to learn more about the authors. I'm really grateful that I did since it has saved me a lot of money. After a quick look at the book, I wouldn't go anywhere near that seminar even if it was free. Everything in the book seems to be dressed up in New Age B.S. and it's going back to the library after having read just a few pages. If you're trying to improve your life there are a couple of authors that really do have something to say. My Money's on the Turtle by Shana Clark gives you techniques for letting go of the negative things that prevent you from experiencing the joy that's your birthright. As you may have guessed from the title, it's not about quick fixes. Then for working with your emotions there's Emotional Genius : Discovering the Deepest Language of the Soul and The Language of Emotions: What Your Feelings Are Trying to Tell You by Karla McLaren. I haven't seen a copy of the 2nd book yet since it was just published but I'm sure that it will be another 5 star book. The Quick-Fix on page 76 is MONEY TREE. Part of the wisdom on that page is "Don't allow anyone to tell you that money does not grow on trees (without trees you wouldn't have paper money)." My Quick-Fix for having more money is: Don't buy this book.
